Evolution Blog 2--Should creationism be taught in schools?

I don't think creationism should be taught at schools because not everyone believes in the same religion. The idea that God create all things out of nothing and that evolution is incorrect can cause chaos in schools as students become more aggressive on the idea of creationism. If creationism were to be taught to schools then it may cause problems with the differences in beliefs and schools should not brainwash the students and should allow the students to decide on their own what they want to believe since we all have he freedom to voice our opinion and thoughts.  Also creationism is not a theory with evidence thus making it invalid to be taught whereas evolution is proven with full thought of how the world becomes what we see today.

A paleontologist is a scientist that studies fossils to find existing life forms in the past life. Paleontology is a joint discipline, requiring detailed knowledge and training in both biology and geology. They have to go to a graduate school after completing a bachelor’s degree at a college or university. Most employment opportunities require the completion of graduate training at the Ph.D. level. As a undergraduate, paleontologist should get a strong background in basic sciences, especially geology, biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics. Math through calculus, a year of chemistry and a year of physics are a minimum. Paleontologists generally have a major in either geology or biology. Paleontologists also need to learn foreign languages, especially German, French, Russian, or Chinese since fossils have different languages on them. In universities the starting salaries for beginning assistant professors range from $40,000 to $60,000 for an academic year of nine months while holders of doctorates can expect to earn $50,000 to $80,000 over a 12-month period.

Blog 9--Write a letter from you to the editor of a newspaper about why you do or do not support bioengineering. Pick something specific like GMOs and support your position

Dear Editor,

      I do support bioengineering because I believe that it provides us with food and crops that made to be healthy for us and even have the ability to be stored longer. Bioengineering can also make food more resistant to disease, bugs and even to grow more faster and efficiently. It allows countries to feed their population of many and even to have surplus for future uses since bioengineering allows the food to stay healthy for a longer span of time. I believe that GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms) can help society grow to be more safer and more abundant in resources. GMOs allows our world to be more advanced and more evolved with the fact that organisms can live more longer or even provide us with needs that they are needed for. Without bioengineering, our resources might spoil more easily and might me in dire loss due to our large population.

Blog 8- Write a letter from you to Gregor Mendel explaining how the structure of DNA explains his genetic discoveries of "factors" and P1 and F1

Dear Gregor Mendel,
             
    The structure of DNA explains your genetic discoveries of factors, now called genes, because DNA actually contains genes that allow characteristics to appear and either be dominant or not. Also the structure of the DNA being a double helix allows for the base pairing theory to be applied such as A to G and C to T resulting in the identical strips of DNA used to create offspring's through the parent's DNA. So your discoveries on factors and P1 and F1 are largely determined by the structure of DNA since DNA contains the genetic information  in the structure of a double helix that enables the offspring to receive similar traits/genes from the parents.
